Or is God just a figment of a believer's imagination?

That is a b-i-i-g question, Andrew! Ever since the Dawn of Time, Mankind have looked up for some power greater than themselves. This they have named God, Allah, Yawey, to name a few. They know there is some Intelligence that is greater than themselves, that is running everything form the stars in the sky to the blood in their veins. This they call God or other name, depending on the culture they belong to. Some see God as a person who lives in Heaven and wears a long beard. Others see Him/Her/It as Pure Energy, that has no shape or form. Some refer to God as The Unknowable. So that's my answer, Andrew. God is The Unknowable! ;D

I'm an agnostic, I think there's a God, I think were here for a reason.

I wasn't sure what exactly an agnostic is so I looked it up.
I came up with this:
Does that describe you, Andrew?

That basically describes my beliefs yes.
a is a slightly incorrect though, if you have a "Godly" experience, then you wouldn't think it's impossible to know whether there is a God.

I don't get that, because, surely if you have a "Godly" experience , you would be inclined to believe that there is a god?
