Here in Ireland, the most common national chit-chat subject is the weather. Always, when we meet someone we will have made some comment on the weather in the course of our conversation. Our weather is so unpredictable! That's why we talk about it so much.   For the same reason, our weather forecasters have a very hard job keeping us updated re what to expect. Predicting the weather sometimes can be like trying to tell who's going to win the lottery. LOL! An endless source of fascination - and a very handy subject for chit-chat!  ;D |

Won't be around too much over the next 3 days as I'm going to Cardiff to watch England v South Africa in cricket, then Sussex in the T20 finals day the next day. |
